Polestar 1

This Polestar 1 is made using Blender, Embergen and Unreal Engine 5, where the goal was to place the car in a Mandalorian/Star Wars environment.

I started with worldbuilding, especially to get the cave right using blockout and the covering it up with megascan assets to get the final product.

The most challenging part was to get the smoke sim to work in Unreal. I imported the car model to Liquigen and exported a bunch of volumes before i got it right.

Post processing done in Da Vinci Resolve using EXR and node based compositing.
